Can I Trust God With My Purpose?
What if God didn't save you just so you could go to church?
What if He saved you so you could be the Church everywhere you go?
Your school matters.
Your team matters.
Your neighborhood matters.
Your friend group matters.
And God placed you there for a reason.
Jesus told His followers:
“You are the light of the world.”
Notice He didn't say:
You might become light one day.
He said:
You are.
You don't need a microphone to have ministry.
You don't need to be a pastor.
You don't have to know every Bible verse.
Sometimes being sent looks like:
Sitting beside someone who's alone.
Praying for a friend.
Refusing to participate when everybody else is doing wrong.
Inviting somebody to church.
Showing kindness when cruelty would be easier.
Sharing what Jesus has done in your life.
You were created by God.
You were chosen by God.
You were accepted into God's family.
You were made new through Christ.
And now...
YOU ARE SENT.
Take a minute.
Where has God already placed me that I could begin representing Jesus?
Talk to God.
God, use my life. Help me understand that my purpose isn't somewhere far away—it starts wherever You have placed me today. Give me courage to represent Jesus at home, at school, with my friends, and everywhere I go. Amen.
Live it out.
Choose one person this week.
Pray for them every day.
Then look for one opportunity to encourage them, serve them, invite them, or tell them what Jesus means to you.
Who gets to define me?
Not my mistakes.
Not my friends.
Not social media.
Not my feelings.
Not my circumstances.
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.” — Isaiah 43:1
